Basalt Uncoated Chopped Fibres are resistant to alkalis and acids, as well as extreme temperatures. They are great for asphalt and concrete reinforcement in our varying Canadian climate. The fibres have been specially developed for great distribution and adhesion in the asphalt and concrete mixes. These fibres are especially suitable for projects with undefined load direction. The fibres are available from 4 mm to 60 mm in length based on the load bearing requirements and aggregate mixture. For asphalt reinforcement, it is recommended to use fibres 16mm or 24mm in length.
